Response to the latest plea for money (April 25, 2022)

Dr. Piazza,

I have detected an interesting (though disturbing) story arc in Front Sight e-mails. The original e-mails promised untold benefits due to an exchange in abundance members would receive as a reward for sending money. Then for the Gold Status members, this changed to get a gold star and the obligation to pay for what was previously included free. Now, this latest e-mail proposes send money and you get nothing in exchange beyond a vague promise.

It’s also interesting to me that Front Sight seems still to need massive amounts of monetary donations, even though the Gold Status non-membership membership is now closed. One would think that closing the Gold Status program, which you touted as being wildly successful in terms of member participation, would be done only when and if enough funds had been secured to solve the current problem(s). Instead, the pleas for members to escalate their member status have given way to pleas for outright donations.
