Termination of membership and request for refund (March 16, 2022)

Dr. Piazza, Et al,

I am writing in regards to your restructuring notification delivered on January 22, 2022, via e-mail as well as numerous subsequent e-mails on the subject and your attempt to justify your actions.

First, let me say that I wholeheartedly agree with and support Front Sight’s mission and goals. The encounters I have had with the staff have been professional, courteous, and genuine. The range facilities are excellent and well maintained, as expected.

I purchased a membership in 2015 and was contacted in November 2015 to upgrade my Diamond membership to President, which I did so with the first payment posting on November 27, 2015, for the amount of $349 and continuing monthly until February 2, 2018, for a total of 28 months and a total investment in excess of $9,772. With this upgrade, I was promised several firearms, etc., which I never received, nor was I notified regarding any additional steps need to complete steps for procurement. I am a retired Marine with 26 years of honorable and faithful service to this country and its people. Over the course of my service, I have incurred injuries that have left me permanently disabled and on a fixed income. A membership that cost nearly $10,000 was not easily justifiable, but one I felt was worth it, for myself and my family. In good faith and confidence, based on promises made by yourself regarding the future of Front Sight, I GAVE (not sold) memberships to close friends, military members, and family who also believed in the mission and goals of Front Sight.

In your recent correspondence and attempt to justify your restructuring and actions that essentially invalidated what myself and countless others have paid for, you referred to myself and other members as ENEMIES or UNPATRIOTIC. My question of you is simple, WHO ARE YOU TO QUESTION MY PATRIOTISM or DEDICATION? I have been blessed to have served alongside some of the most amazing men and women this country has ever produced in the defense of its people, our way of life, and our CONSTITUTION. I have fought throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Rim, standing for and defending those who could not stand for themselves. I have served with and lost men and women far better than yourself, men and women who rarely if ever SPOKE of patriotism because THEIR ACTIONS SPOKE FOR THEM. Your actions regarding the restructuring, reversal of restructuring, and subsequent attempts to justify what amounts to little more than a two-year-old throwing a temper tantrum because he did not get what he wanted. YOU, thru YOUR ACTIONS, have revealed who the REAL ENEMY of Front Sight is … Dr. Ignatius Piazza.

Unfortunately, YOUR actions have consequences, consequences for the hard-working and dedicated employees of Front Sight, their families, the town of Pahrump, NV, and Second Amendment supporters throughout the country.

No need to worry, I have and will continue to seek my firearms training elsewhere. I am requesting a FULL refund of all monies paid to Front Sight along with an itemized statement of payments made, interest incurred on monies, and a financial breakdown of all financial related to Front Sight Firearms Training Institute during my time as a member as your actions have constituted a breach of contract on your part.
